Creating fun and interactive brand experience

Snapchat lenses can be a great marketing tool if used properly. Wolt were interested in trying it out in order to find out what potential it has in their field of business. Our challenge was to design and implement an interactive solution which would engage the users and reflect Wolt as a brand at the same time. Our journey started with the idea generation and end with a finished product.

Being in a project team of only 2 people, I carried many responsibilities, taking the client from the initial lead to working on the project hands-on. Sales, discovery meetings, concept development, presentations and all the hands-on work creating the assets and making them come alive in the Snapchat Lens Studio.

Fun and engaging result!

The end result was a “Raining sushi” lens, where the users could see themselves as a cartoon-ish sushi piece falling from the sky. It included mouth-open interactions to make it rain with background sushi pieces, sound effects, as well as integrated Wolt branding elements.

The lens went live in 20+ markets where Wolt operates and was also featured in Snapchat’s own monthly “Snap News” newsletter!
